Hyderabad Auto Show 2011..

The third edition of the Hyderabad Auto show featured some of the country's leading automobile manufacturers..
The event hosted at HICC, Novotel is the biggest in South India..


This is a photo-blog of the event..


FORD showcased the second generation Fiesta..
Looks inspired from the Verna Fluidic..


The Honda stall displayed its SUV, the Santa Fe..


Toyota re-launched its most expensive SUV, the Land Cruiser Prado..




The German automobile manufacturer, Audi had something new to offer to the Indian buyers..
Displaying two 4-door luxury sedans, A6 & A7 and a Coupe, the RS5..
The prices ranging from 4.5 million to 9 million..


Suzuki displayed its mid-size luxury sedan, the Kizashi..
The sedan comes with a pedal shift gearbox..
Priced at 2.1 million..


Volkswagen had its most successful sedan, the Passat on display..


The Skoda stall had the all new Laura(photo not available) and their unusual looking MUV, the Yeti..




BMW motors showcased their super luxury sedan, the 730Ld and the sports Coupe, the 650i..
The cars are priced at 12 million and 9 million respectively..



The Jaguar and Range Rover were also spotted at the event, showing their best machines..



Volvo displayed its crossover SUV, the XC90 and their mid-size luxury sedan, the S60 at the show..
They are priced between 3.5 million and 7 million in the Indian market..



Renault coming strong to India with the launch of Fluence and their compact SUV, Koleos(above)..


British manufacturer, Bentley displayed their Continental Flying Spur, the fastest in their range of sedans..
This stall was a disappointment as is did not have the recently launched Continental GTC and the Mulsanne..



Popularly known as James Bond's car, the Aston Martin displayed their sports saloons, the Rapide and V8 Vantage..
They are priced around 30 million..


Porsche displayed its all new 2-seater Roadster, the Boxster S priced between 6 million and 9 million..




Among bikes, Honda emerged as favorites with their display of technology coupled with sheer power..
The VFR1200f, comes with a dual clutch gearbox(or simply automatic transmission) and is priced at 2 million in India..


Yamaha motors displayed the FZ1, priced at 1 million..




Harley Davidson had 13 bikes on display..
Ranging from the basic 'Super Low' costing half a million to the high end 'Street Glide' priced at 2.4 million..







Vintage bikes and cars were also on display..

Overall, the Auto show brought the old and new under one roof..
Biggies like Mercedes-Benz and Rolls Royce however did not show up at the event.. Indian manufacturer Hero also kept away from the auto show..
